Pictures to come later...
Day One Airport: Flying to Florida takes a LONG time. Brett did well for almost the entire time. He was pretty excited. We had a few moments of breakdown but for the most part he was great. When we got to florida he was so excited. Staying in a hotel is an adventure in itself? we had a really good dinner and then Brett wanted to go swimming. The only problem was that it was very cold. We did go out to the hot tub for a while. Some cute little girls joined us. Brett started to play with the older one and they ended up holding hands. The hot tub was so warm it was just cold getting out.
Day Two Magic Kingdom with Mommy: The first day at Disney World was just Brett and me. Justin had to work. We had a blast. If you every go to disney world- go when the economy is in the pitts, its 50 degrees and windy, and February. We walked on almost every ride. The longest wait we had was to see Mickey Mouse (25 minutes). We were able to go on Brett's favorites over and over again. His absolute favorite was the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin (total of 7 times on the trip), race cars (6 times), Tea Cups (2), Barnstormer (2). Brett and I spent our time on more of the kiddie rides. He behaved so well. We did not stay up for fireworks as he said he would rather go to the hot tub again then to stay for fire works. The best part of the whole day was when he meet buzz light year he was so excited!
Day Three with Mommy and Daddy: The next day at the Magic Kingdom was a little different than the first. we went to the more adventurous side of the park this time. We went on Pirates of the Caribian, Jungle Cruise and then decided to see if he could get on Splash Mountain. With his hooded sweatshirt on and really tall shoes he barley made it! Anyway he LOVED IT!!!!! It was so cold no one was on the ride so we road it 2x in a row without getting off. He grinned ear to ear the whole time. Then from there we did thunder mountain. We road that 2x as well. We had ridden the kiddie roller coaster 2x already but this was so much funner for him. We also did the haunted mansion which brett did not like. Then went to Stitches Great Escape which is scary as well. Stitch sneezes on you and you get hit with water. Brett walked out just disgusted he had stitches snot on him. We hit a couple repeat rides and again didnt stay for fireworks. There were only 2 rides in the whole park we never made it on: Peter Pan Adventures (line was too long all the time) and Space mountain because he wasnt tall enough.
Day Four Hollywood Studios: by the last day we were sooooooo tired! We still had a blast. We saw Mickey Mouse Clubhouse live on stage, Beauty and the Beast, Indiana Jones, and brett's favorite the Lights Camera Action- Car Chase show. We also went on Star Tours 2x and the Great movie ride. One ride we went on that we got Brett to just barley pass for height on was the Tower of Terror. This is a broken down elevator ride that falls 13 stories. I had second thoughts about taking him. Lets just say its scared the **** out of me and I love rides like that but having him next to me freaked me out. anyway he told his dad he liked it and me he did not. We asked if he wanted to go again and he said NO!!!! I still cant believe we took him on it! This was the busiest day on the park but really not too bad. They have a brand new ride that is a Toy Story ride we had to go on. We had to do this with a Fast Pass because it had an 80 minute wait. We only waited 10 minutes but only got to go on this ride 1x. It was great. We stayed this time for the night show called Fantasmic. It had lots of evil people in it and at the end Mickey saves the day. Brett did not like to see all the evil people he really likes the good guys.
Day Five Airport: Coming home was not fun. Its always hard to end vacation and Brett was so utterly exhausted that it was a very very long day. We only had one major melt down on a plane and unfortunately it was when we had a really grumpy lady in front of us. Walking in our house and laying in my own bed was so wonderful! I love vacation but its good to be home.
So Brett got to pick out a toy at the end of every day for being so good. Every toy he picked out had to do with Buzz Lightyear! Other than Mickey Mouse Brett decided it was not worth waiting in line to meet the characters. We saw Goofy, Daffy, Pooh, Tigger, Lightening McQueen, Mater, and many others from afar but did not wait for photos.
