Jumpy Caleb

Caleb has been so fun doing new things all the time. He now loves to jump. I think he likes the independence.


Brett had quite the Saturday this weekend. It started out at Roy Aquatic Center for Daxton's birthday. We stayed 2.5 hours and Brett had a ball. Went down the big water slide 3 times. From there we ran home showered and headed to Jace's birthday party in West Jordan. There he went down their water slide and played water gun wars with the other kids. Then back home in time for fireworks off the back deck. As soon as the started he said "we have seen alot already cant they just be over already"..... He has also been begging us to get out the telescope since he was already up late we were able to get it out and show him the moon and venus. Then finally at 11 to bed. With all of that crazy stuff going on Brett was an angel the entire day. Around midnight he started screaming because his throat hurt so bad. That last until around 2 am. I kept telling him to stop talking because it was making it worse. It took 2 doses of Tylenol to help him settle down. So Sunday has been a sick day we all needed for rest...TV, Wii ice cream and Play Dough is all we have accomplished today.

Home Atlast/Jumper

Jusitn finally made it home from Kentucky. I am so happy to have him here

But even with such a cool jumpy look what he is looking at - TV. Such a boy.

Thank you Nana! / Good news about papou

Brett and Caleb have had the most wonderful week in care of their nana. Deb helped us out a ton and took care of the boys while Justin was in Kentucky. She did this all with a cast on her foot and pins sticking out. Anyway it was great to have her over! Brett had such a good weekend and is now rich with quarters! Deb we appreciate you! While deb was here, her and I rented a movie "the Lovely Bones" I had loved the book and also got her to read it. I must say the movie didnt live up to the book.

Justin was suppose to be home today but got stuck in Louisville. He has made it as far as Cincinnati Ohio but it looks like he wont get home until tomorrow. Delta has put him up at a holiday in for the night. Cant wait to have him back. I think he is ready as well. He has not had the most wonderful experience in Kentucky. I wont tell all his stories but he has many including a guy taking his teeth out, the 4th street hooker, the Hot Brown Dinner, etc...... He hates Louisville with a passion and really wants to get home. So just being in Ohio is probably a relief for him. He did enjoy his Hot Brown though.

My dad had an appointment today for progress on his cancer. The news was really good. The mass is going away and no more bone marrow checks! He still has to do all 6 months of chemo but that means only 4 left and it seems to be working!!!!

Pac 10/Icky Jeep

Today the Utes got invited to the Pac 10! Tomorrow there will be a press conference to confirm the invitation. Justin has been on a roller coaster ride watching the news the last few weeks and today is a bundle of emotion. You would think he was on the team or something. Anyway its very exciting news. I cant wait to go and watch them play USC, UCLA, Arizona, Colorado, Arizona State each year. National Championship here we come (I am sure we will need some time to adjust but now we at least have a shot). I am so happy it was finally announced. I dont think Justin's nails could have survived another few stressful days.

Justin has finished the outside mostly except for a few things like the fenders that go over the tires. Its looking really good on the outside.

The problem is that he is now starting the inside where he is going to monstaline the inside (like the stuff people put in the back of truck beds). Looks how icky nasty horrible it is. If you look close you can see a french fry that was there way before we bought the jeep. The green phinius (sp) and ferb gummy came from brett.

Sleeping Beauties/Caleb's 1st Cereal

Brett loves to put pillows out and sleep on the floor. I have no idea why because he always ends up looking so uncomfortable.


Caleb is a great sleeper sometimes but other times he wakes up at 2, 4, 6 and 8. a few nights ago he made it from 9 to 7.


we are about 2 weeks early feeding Caleb rice cereal but he is always hungry so I thought I would give it a try. If he got any in his tummy it was not very much at all. Most of it he just giggled right out on his bib.

Happy Birthday Justin!

We celebrated Justin's birthday one day early. We were not planning on it but it just sort of happened that way. We went out to dinner after a very late baseball game and had a great dinner including chocolate lava cake. After the day was over Brett said "that was the coolest day ever". The best part was when we asked Brett if he likes to stay home with daddy or mommy and he said "daddy".... why you ask "because he is the coolest ever!". So that didnt make me happy but it sure makes it easier to go to work when I know that the kids are loved and taken care of.

I noticed that almost all of Justin's pictures include a dead animal, kid, or work. Justin has been such a good stay at home daddy this summer. He works so hard and is good at everything he does. It drives me nuts but I am sure happy to have him in our lives! He is a great husband and daddy. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!







Brett has had a great 2 days. Before that it was a war zone around here. The new terms in our lives are MEANIAC.... and MOMSTER.
