Brett 2008 Easter Egg Hunt

I cant believe its Brett's 3rd Easter already. Brett has funner and funner every year. We are now less than 1 month away from Brett's 3rd Birthday and I just cant believe how fast time flies.

Brett loved coloring the eggs but eating them was another story. He liked the whites okay but the yolks he spit out.

I saw flowers today/Happy Easter

What a beautiful day today. Brett and I went to the park (no photos unfortunately) and I could see green grass coming through and some tips of some yellow flowers! It was so nice and I am so ready for winter to be gone this year. Brett had a blast playing with just a light jacket on, we also went and saw the ducks and geese. I am really liking the time change as well. Brett is having a little bit of a hard time going to bed when its light and waking up when its dark but the advantages of having play time after school totally outweigh the disadvantages.

As far as house hunting goes we are sort of at a stand still. We figured out about where our offers could come in at but we are being very timid because the housing market might still crash more according to many analysts, so as of right now I am not sure what we will do. We have found some great houses, and there are tons to choose from but we might wait it out a bit. Our rental is a real nice house so it wont be too bad staying for a bit longer (other than the huge dog droppings from the pit bulls next door and the jets that fly over all day long). Justin is way busy with working full time at Weber, working part time at the U, writing his dissertation, house hunting and harley riding so we might wait until summer to figure out what to do.

Back from Portland

Life has been exhausting lately. I just got back from Portland for work and it was actually kinda nice to be able to flip channels on the TV for an hour ever nice in peace and quiet, however I missed Brett way to much. We took him to Nana and Grandpas house on Friday night since Nana was conveniently in Salt Lake that day, and it bought us a day of house hunting. Brett is sort of sick of house hunting right now. So I did not see him from Friday until Thursday night at 10 pm. It was hard. So even with the peace and quiet I was yearning for lots of noise. Anyway its good to be home! Portland was nice, green and rainy but I didnt see much as it was a working trip.

This weekend has been another house hunting weekend. Our lease in our rental is up May 31st. I cant believe it has been that long since we moved in here and I am not ready to pack up again. The nice thing is that there are a million houses for sell right now. We are just trying to get a screaming deal! So far we have made 3 very low offers, 2 are currently pending and 1 was countered too high. We have about a month before crunch time so we thought we would try and get a stealing deal first before we make more serious offers. Justin is enjoying this process and I really dislike it. I have found too many houses I love.

Circle Time

Brett got out his stuffed animals and played Circle time like he has in school. He was being so much like a teacher pointing to the "kids" and singing to them. Once I got out the camera he got a little goofy and wasnt playing like he had before.

Playdough

Brett go some new playdough toys, they were suppose to be for Easter but I couldnt wait. Anyway he LOVES them...... They kept his interests for over 1 hour which is amazing for Brett.

We are Studs

Brett and Dax had such a good time together! Dax is 4 and Brett is 3. Brett looks up to Dax a ton. This was them playing the bean bag saying "we are studs"
