2 Year Old

Brett is not officially 2 yet but I think mentally he is already there. Last night he through the longest temper tantrum. I even left the room and he followed me, and started up again. He threw he head on the front door, the living room floor and even in the kitchen on the floor. I have to admit even though I stuck it out during this temper tantrum he is probably going to win some of these. My gosh!!!!! It was all because he wanted to play on a slide outside. I couldn't let him because he wasn't dress properly. I told him he could play on his slide inside but I guess it wasn't enough. Anyway I figured out how to end the temper tantrum! I went to get the camera so I could take a picture and put it on the blog. When I got the camera out and started snapping he cheered right up!!!! Anyway I will try that again in the future but I have no pictures for the blog today since he was smiling then!!!!

Tonight is Brett's 2nd official Parent Teacher Conference! I hope it goes well. I think he is a little young for them but its a good chance to get to talk with his teachers without all the other kids around. They do a really neat report on each of them too so it will be worthwhile.

I bought Brett a little kitchen set for Christmas. It was a really cheap little set but it is the perfect size. while I make dinner I fill up his tea pot with water and he loves to serve everyone "more water". Its so fun he also knows his please, thank you and your welcome. I have been amazed at what fun we have had with this toy so far.

Well I am off to Virginia in a few days. I am getting very sad to leave Brett and Justin for a week. I keep trying to tell Brett about it but he just giggles at me. I am sure they will be okay but I am sad to leave. Anyway I wont update this blog until after I get back.

Just Testing

Quick Update

I don't have any photos to post today but I figured I had better keep this up to date. Anyway not a lot going on in 2007 so far. But here is a quick update on each of us.

My car is in getting fixed right now so I am in a rental Dodge Durango. I miss my car. The Durgano is nice but its too big for me. I am going to Virginia next week for work. I am very sad to leave Brett for that long. I think Daddy and Brett are going to have a nice time with out me, but I like to think that they will miss me a little too.

Justin is busily working on an article to get published. We hope he gets it sent off by next week! This will be a good step in his road to graduation.

Brett has had a good year so far but developed a phantom limp yesterday. We cant figure out what caused it. It was really bad though, we could tell his wasn't faking but yet he didn't hurt any where. So far today it has disappeared as quickly as it came. Hope it stays away. Other than that he is just talking up a storm. He likes to read to himself and have conversations with the telephone (as long as no one is on the other end). It amazes me sometimes the words he knows. He is getting to be so big. The potty training is not going well but we are not pushing it either. sometimes he tells us and goes and other times he tells us after the fact.

I will try and get more pictures out shortly. They are on our camera but I haven't had time to get them from the camera to the computer, and the computer to the blog.
