It’s been a while since I have blogged!

Life has been insane, at work, at home, everywhere so I have not blogged for a while. Also have been sick for 1 week and 2 days now. Excuses, Excuses! Anyway I really don’t have a lot to update but I will try and catch everyone up.

The contractor put in grass last week and so far it is not looking so good. It was completely yellow the first few days and now it at least has a few green pieces sticking out now. They are having us water 2x per day for 45 minutes each. My water bill is going to be outrageous! Since it’s a rental I am not emotionally involved in the yard but if I owned the house I would be freaking out right now. It is so wet and soggy it sinks a few inches if you walk on it so we stay off it for the most party. I am really looking forward to it getting in shape so that Brett can have a nice yard to play in.

This weekend my parents brought up my grandmothers piano (Thanks mom and dad!). It is so nice to have a piano even though I really can’t play worth a darn, Brett loves it and even Justin has gotten into tinkering around on it. Justin is getting quiet versed in Christmas carols.

As for Justin he is busy working out of 3 offices right now: Weber State, Home and University of Utah. He is spreading himself too thin while trying to get ready for the fall, finish his dissertation and do all the research he is being paid for. Hang in there Justin, its almost over.

Brett is doing well right now. He is talking up a storm. He amazes me with what he learns every day. He comes home with new songs. It takes me a minute to figure out exactly what he is saying but he is pretty good to get the melody right.

As for me, I am just sick and tired of being sick….. I cant kick this cold and have been working a lot of hours at work, including Saturdays. I am ready for a break! At night I need to rest but I miss Justin and Brett too much during the day to take much time away from them and Brett has really been enjoying his bike rides with me and the park so it has been busy.

I will try and get new pictures soon. I need to get my batteries charged up so when the moment hits we are ready.

Dont get me wrong I miss them a ton, but I am taking full advantage of the situation.

Safety First

Brett has been talking about a bike helmet so I got him a helmet that came with knee and elbow pads. He had to wear them all to go and ride his trike. Justin said that I am to overprotective. He reminded me of the mom on the movie "little giants" who wrapped her kid in foam with a helmet. I hope I am not that bad but he sure had fun playing in them.



Well we are all moved in. There are a few boxes left o put away but we are livable. Its amazing how fast Brett made himself at home. Here is a picture of Brett's new room. I still need to get something to put over the crib that is not dangerous. Brett loves to play in his new room. He has a big play hut up and he runs and hides in there. He also has a window seat that we read on and also we watch the jets fly over.



Justin got a new desk, chair and offices supplies for his birthday. He will be working from home a lot on his dissertation and correcting papers. He is all set.

New House

Well we are in! The only casualty in the move was a bird house. Everything is put away except for a few pictures and justins new office. He is building the desk as I type. Anyway just a quick update to let everyone know we are in. I will put some pictures on later when I get a chance. Right now I am off to have my first official bath in the huge tub!
