Bully

Brett got all scratched up by a bully at school the other day. the day care took very appropriate action since the kid was a little to old to be scratching a 2 year old but Brett had a few scratches from it.

Sprinkler

Nana gave Brett a sprinkler to play in and he LOVES it....

The Treehouse

Brett and I had a fun day on Saturday. Justin was in riding class all day so Brett and I went to the Treehouse. I remember taking Matt there when he was only around 6 or 7. That was when there use to be an Ogden City Mall. Since that time the mall was torn down and the treehouse got a new building. It was very nice. I remember it be a place that you could just run around and play but not its a little more calm and quiet. Very interactive but not just an indoor gym like I remember. Anyway we had a ball..... They have a big huge chair you sit on that is called Grandma Sophie's lap (2nd picture) we sat on her lap and started reading "goodnight moon" then I pushed the button so that she would read a story to us. Brett freaked out. He was terrified. The rest of the day we had to stay far far away from Grandma Sophie. Yet when we got home he told Dad all about how Grandma's lap read us a story when we pushed the button. He got to play drums and lots of musical instruments, made a fish hat, hopped on rocks across a river, played he was a a passenger on the mayflower, ate with chopsticks, played castle/knights, played with a barn. etc..... It was a fun day.

Back from Memphis

Well I made it back from Memphis during Elvis week (30 anniversary of Elvis' death).... and I did see Elvis. The first Elvis I saw did not have any teeth. (I didnt have a camera but might have some co-workers emailing me the pictures. Elvis also appeared at the airport on my way home. It was a very busy working week but I did get to spend lots of time on Biel Street at the BB Kings Blues Club and also at the Rum Boogie Cafe. I ate lots of BBQ and some Memphis Dry Rub Ribs.

I wanted to get something cute for Brett as a gift since I felt guilty for leaving but everything on Biel Street was not appropriate for a 2 year old and the memphis airport was not a good shopping center so Brett got a pilots hat and a little delta plane. He added his moon boots as part of his outfit.




Jusitn got his 10th anniversary present of a Harley Jacket and at the Harley shop they were sweet to Brett and gave him a temporary tattoo.

Off to see Elvis!

I am leaving Sunday to Mississippi. I will be back next Friday so I wont be blogging any until then. I fly into Memphis,Tennessee and the hotel we are at is there as well. I hear that it will be a very excited week in TN as it is the 30 anniversary of Elvis death and that there will be sightings of Elvis everywhere. I will keep you posted if I see the real deal.

Well its now official....

We finally had the courage to tell our parents that Justin ordered a Harley Fatboy..... to be delivered sometime in late September or October. So I guess that makes it offical. Justin is now a Harley man.

I want to take this opportunity to apologize for breaking my mom's heart and giving her something to worry about, that was obviously not the intent. Mom, I know it doesn't mean anything or fix anything when I say it but Mom, I love you very much, please dont worry so much. Enjoy life at its fullest.
