New Trailer......

So we got a new trailer today! We are excited to go camping soon! We have decided our first camping trip will be in the front yard to test things out and make sure they all work. We also have to get Brett use to it. Today we were so excited to bring it home and put it in the just cleaned out garage. Its new home! Well I think I really believe there is a Christa's Law out there (similar to murphy's law but worse) and the trailer is 2 inches to big to fit!!!! Doesnt that sound like my normal luck. anyhow our neighbors will have to deal with it this summer and then when it gets cold we will take off the awning and scrape it in there. Now I need a ping pong table to fill up all the empty space in the garage where its suppose to go.




Brett is excited for his new bed but a little nervous. He thinks its cool to climb up there but gets a little scared. If he falls out he will fall right on Jusitn. Our bed is underneath.


I totally missed getting some pictures of the interior! We are so groovy these days I am thinking of putting a big sticker on the outside that says "Flower Power"!!!! With all the bad luck being said I am so excited go camping with Justin and Brett. Brett has never been except in the cabin and I think will have a blast collecting sticks to bring home to his stick pile.

Brett's 4th Birthday Party

I cant believe that Brett is turning 4 on Tuesday. This year we went had a real birthday party. He picked the guest list. He was so excited to have his friends come for his birthday. we had 9 kids all together. We went to Ogden Dinosaur Park which is a pretty neat place. They spent most the time playing on the playground. We also dug for gems and saw a few of their dinosaurs. Then we had hotdogs, cheetos, cake and ice cream. Brett actually ate a bite of his cake!!!!! He never has eaten cake on his birthday before.







All in all it was a very fun party. But I must say I am so glad its over. watching that many kids causes me stress. Thank you to everyone who helped clean up!!!! Also thanks for all the presents. Brett is utterly exhausted and he is home and should be asleep but instead is playing with all his new toys.

Easter in the Park

Brett and his friend Dani got to have a fun morning in the park! They got to hunt easter eggs and got a ton of candy each. They also got to meet the easter bunny and play on the play ground! It was nice for me because I got to spend some time talking to my friend Chris. After the park they played for a few hours and made sand creatures! all in all it was a fun day. After they left my parents came up to visit and to give Brett his birthday present. I cant believe he is going to be 4 in less than 2 weeks. His party is next weekend at the dino park and its looking like we should have good weather.

Getting Ready for the Bunny

Brett had so much fun today at school. They had an Easter Party. While they were off in another room the Easter Bunny stopped by and hid some Candy. Brett and his buddy seth who go to the same school came home with their cups of candy and bunny ears. They played for over an hour each taking turns wearing their ears and hiding candy and then searching for candy. What a nice game for a rainy night.

After Seth went to his mom's house we decided to color easter eggs. Brett loves hard boiled eggs but never gets them (not sure why we dont have them more often). we had a ball and instead of eating the BBQ beef dinner I made for him he had 2 eggs instead.

Spring

I have had a ton of things that I should have taken pictures of lately but didnt have the camera handy. Yesterday Brett and I went to Chuck e cheese. Brett earned it with another sticker chart. He has been so good (knock on wood). I got a coupon on line for 100 tokens. I thought how cool it would be to have so many. we usually get about 40. Brett was so excited at first but it go very hot and crowded. By about the time 50 were gone we were both ready to leave. We were just dropping coins in machines right and left to get rid of them all. He ended up with 331 tickets at the end and was overwhelmed with choices of junky trinkets. I ended up having to pick stuff out and we ended up with dolphin shooting thing, 4 spiders, a snow glob, a noise maker and then something with chuck e cheese head and when you squeeze it, the head flies off. Brett brought the snow glob for show n tell today. It was fun but learned that 100 tokens are way to many.

The spring wonderful has been fun but its just teasing us. we get use to fun nights of playing outside and then turn around and its raining and snowing again. On the nice nights Brett and Seth just have so much fun playing in the vacant lot, jumping on the tramp, riding bikes, etc. Its wonderful. I am sad its going to get stormy again. Tonight Brett and Seth were exhausted and I put them on the deck with a root beer float to enjoy the night air. I kept checking on them and they were being so good. A few minutes later Brett ran in and said they were going to the tramp. Anyway I noticed Seths dad back there getting Seth so I went to help out by getting Brett. While I was out there I noticed the deck was covered with Root Beer and so was the Dog..... At first I thought Cody probably went and knocked the cups over because he does stuff like that but then found out that Brett and Seth were taking the root beer in their mouths and then seeing who could spit it the closest to Cody.......

Justin road his bike to work today for the first time in a while. It was such a nice warm day I saw Harley's everywhere. Justin also got a new rifle and went to shoot it for the first time today. He came home very disappointed in the performance but later found out the scope wasnt tightened down enough... Thank goodness I thought he was already ready to sell it. Justin only has about 4 weeks of school left. I am so jealous he is going to have the whole summer off. He already has 2 fishing trips planned and maybe a harley ride.

Brett is ready for easter. Later this week we are going to dye easter eggs and my parents are coming up to see him for easter and his bday. If you can believe it he is almost 4. He is having a b-day party at the Ogden Dinosaur Park in 2 weeks. He is very excited but is struggling not to talk about it at school. We invited a few friends but not all of them and he keeps asking if his other friends can go if they make their own invitations.

Patience is Virtue

When I was in high school I was on the debate team at the end of the year they gave out funny awards to every one on the team. The one I received was "patience is virtue" I never really got it. I had a challenging partner which I know is the reason I got it but that so does not fit me. Everyone knows that I cant wait to give justin his presents. We always give each other things the moments we buy them and surprises never happen in our house. But for once I was finally patient and it paid off..... We found a table at RC willeys about a year ago when we bought our house. Justin saw it first and we both loved it. With all the things we needed buying a new house we decided against the purchase but every once in a while I get on KSL classifieds just to see if I can find one. I have seen the table that we wanted new on KSL but still on the expensive side. Then finally yesterday I found a used one, very close to our house for a good price. We went there and Justin even talked them down more money! So today we brought it home!!!!! I love it. Our old table was fine but it was the one thing I really wanted to replace because it just sort of didnt go with our new kitchen! So my 1 year wait for this table saved us well over 1/2 retail cost.
