Christmast 2006 (part 2)

We spent Christmas in Price this year. It was very fun. Brett was spoiled rotten again. Really his Christmas lasted a week straight.

Brett got a slide he adores. He has been having a hard time deciding what toy to play with. He goes from his slide, to his hut, to his easel. Needless to say the place is in chaos.
But with all the new toys Brett's favorite activity remains jumping off the couch... and that is free.

I have a 10 day break off work. So far its already been 8 of the 10 days. Its been great but not been that relaxing. Justin has been a slave driver and we have been rearranging. I am exhausted. I hope to enjoy my last 2 days off. However we have made some great improvements and I have more closet space!

Actually I cant say its been all work and no play. Justin and I went on 2 dates, Brett and I went to Discovery Gateway (I thought he was too young but really there was a ton for him to do), Brett got 3 new fish, The Utes won their bowl game, I went and had the Serenity Treatment at the Spa Club and there are still 2 more days.....

Papou and Brett

Brett has both of his grandpas wrapped around his little finger. He loves to go outside and he knows that if we are in Price or Fillmore visiting that all he has to do is find Grandpa or Papou and its a ticket out the door. These pictures are of him in Price with Papou. He went on a walk, in the stroller and then in the sled. What a weekend.

Car Accident

Brett and I were in a car accident last night. Luckily we were not part of the main event. We saw two cars hit and one of them spun into us. We are both fine, so no worries.... Now I need a new bumper. Anyone out there know a good Auto Body Shop in Salt Lake?

Brett did not even cry. He enjoyed all the commotion with the fire truck, ambulance and sheriff cars. He enjoyed the lights. It was so cold that Justin had to come and take him.

Anyway all is well except for the front bumper of the highlander.

First Snow/Fat Lip

Brett had so much fun playing in the snow this weekend. There was about 3 or 4 inches when he played in it. He loves wearing his snow boots more than anything. The problem is getting them off after we are done playing. He would wear them to bed if he could. He loved being outside and seeing the dogs.


We had such a fun weekend but at the end of it Brett ended up with a fat lip.... and its my fault! He fell on his new toy and I feel very bad. He was a trooper and only cried for a little while. It bleed a little so dad had to go outside. Brett got lots of hugs and kisses from his grandma and me.

Christmas 2006 (part 1)

We went to Fillmore this weekend to celebrate Christmas with the Jackson Family. We will be heading to Price next weekend to finish Christmas at the Shilaos'. Its sort of fun having a full week of Christmas. Brett had a nice time. He has already been spoiled and is loving every moment of it. He did pretty good opening the presents with a little help.

He loved this wooden toy you hammer pegs through and he also got an art Easel that he adores. He had such a good time. Justin and I were also spoiled rotten and I am already planning to schedule my spa appointment ASAP!!!! It was hard for Brett to come home and loose all that attention he had. Santa Claus

Here is Brett's 2006 picture with Santa Claus at Harmon's. He knows who Santa is and that he says "ho ho ho" but when he got there he sort of froze up. So no smile.

We are starting a new tradition of buying a new family ornament each year. I purchased our 2006 ornament today. Its a family of 3 animals on a sleigh.... Dad, Mom, and Son. I thought it was a good representation of our little family of 3.

I am getting so excited for Christmas. I cant wait to open presents. Justin actually got cash out of our account this year so I couldn't track down his purchases. So I have no idea what I am getting for Christmas. It is driving me MAD!!!!

Its getting late and I am tired, so more later....

Sick Day

Brett was sent home sick from day care on Tuesday afternoon. He has an ear infection. I spent the morning with him today and Justin spent the afternoon with him. He was really in good spirits just a little klingy this morning. He is starting to be attached to Mr Bear. After snuggling with him he feed him fruit loops and then put a hat on him. It was very cute. Brett is doing well and will be back to school tomorrow.

Other than that I really have nothing to say. Nothing really going on in the Jackson world these days.
