Nice weekend

Last week at work was a tough one.  I worked a ton of hours, and even worked on my Friday off.  So by the time Saturday came around I really needed a good weekend.  

The weather was pretty bad on Saturday.  It rained and rained and rained before finally turning to snow.  Our back yard is a lake.  Luckily it was all away from the house.

Even though we couldnt go outside we sure had some fun inside.  I think I have the 2 cutest boys in the world and when they smile and giggle it makes everything wonderful.

We had fun doing rainy day activities.

By Sunday the weather was perfect and we got to go outside and build snow forts.

Seems like I never blog anymore.  Life is just sort of moving along like usually and I havent been getting pictures. 

A few weeks ago we went to the Golden Spike- just a fun little drive to get out of the house. 

Thursday night we went to Mascot night at Weber state.  Got to watch a fun basketball game, enjoy the kids, and eat lots of treats.

Brett's new Video Racer

Brett got a video racer from Santa Claus.  Today he took a video with it and wanted to post it for the world to see. 

All I want for New Years is my Two Front Teeth!

Brett lost both of his front teeth in a period of 3 days.  The first one came out without a problem the 2nd one was a little painful but he survived.  The tooth fairy had to fly all the way down twice for him!

Merry Christmas!

Caleb's new kitchen. 

On Christmas Eve our turkey took a little longer to cook than planned.  During the wait the kids got a little goofy.  Brett was wearing bows.

And Caleb climbed on the table to eat some butter. I guess he was just too hungry.  

When it was finally done it was worth the wait. Yummmmy.   Brett even ate some!!!

Later that night we put out cookies for Santa.  Brett choose Oreos because Brett doesn't like them as much as Chips Ahoy yet he knows Santa likes them all the same.

Christmas morning mommy was up super early just hoping the kids would wake up.  Finally around 7:15 she couldnt wait any longer and just woke them up. 

Caleb likes his new magnetic toys but he sure was ready for a nap- you can see it in his face.  We had a great meal of homemade mannicotti and then it was time to snooze. 

Bretts Christmas Sing a Long

Brett had a christmas concert at school today.  He was in a great big sea of 1st graders and I could not get a great picture or video.  He ended up giving me a private concert at home later!
