Merry Christmas

Santa Claus made it to our house this year. Guess we were all good. 

the Pillow Pet is Brett's favorite gift.

Caleb really didnt get the whole santa thing but still had fun getting into mischief.

Brett got so many fun gifts including Criss Cross Crash, Hero Factory, NBA Jam Wii, Real Construction, etc.

 Now that Christmas is over we didnt put many things back out.  Caleb has been into everything in the front room.  Its safer for him now but he really does not get the word "no".

Road Trip/ Christmas with the Jacksons

My 8 day break off work started out quickly and hasnt settled down yet.  First we started by going to Brett's concert at school.  They had a big party and then a singing program (brett is the 2nd from the end on the middle row).   At the end the big man mad an appearance. 

From there we headed to Fillmore.  Caleb and Brett stayed with Nana and Grandpa (THANK YOU) while justin and I headed to vegas.  We spent a night in mesquite and then a night in vegas.  Had a great all you can eat buffet in Mesquite.  We spent a few hours at Bass pro shops and got rain gear.  After that we headed to the Vegas Bowl.  The Utah Utes lost but the road trip was still well worth it.  The next morning we headed back to fillmore for our 2nd Christmas of the year with the Jacksons.    Brett was so excited to get a Paper Jam guitar.  It really is made out of cardboard (hint the name paper jam) but its a great toy.  Brett loved it  especially when we hooked up the amplifier. 

Caleb got a scoot and push toy.  Brett loves it as much as Caleb and had hours of fun scooting Caleb around. 

Finally on christmas eve we made it home. Brett and I made cookies for Santa Claus. Brett decorated the plate that was especially for Santa. Brett has also been tracking Santa on Norad. He is very excited for tomorrow. We had a wonderful Chili dinner (okay so I had beanless chili, Jusitn had regular chili, brett had steak and corn, caleb had steak and cheese).... but we all enjoyed it.

I cant believe its only be 4/8 days off for me..... It feels like its been a lot more than that.  I am so excited for my 4 more.  Just hanging out at home with the kids and hubby (minus my time for my massage on Monday)

Floors/Brothers

My camera on my phone is not the best so this is blurry but you can see how shinny the floors are.  Brett helped me mop the other day.  I must say he is a perfectionist! I was pretty impressed at how good he did. 

Caleb was laughing so hard in the video below, again you cant see much but just listen to Caleb's little giggle.  I also liked how Brett was trying to make sure he didnt fall at the end.  They are really such good brothers.  Caleb loves to follow Brett around.

Our family always has about 3 Christmas'.  One at home, one with the Shilaos' and one with the Jackson's.  Its always fun to celebrate 3 times.  Our first one this year was with my parents.  Unfortunatly we couldnt all be together but that didnt stop the smiles.  Thanks mom and dad for everything. You spoiled us like always.

I was on the winning bowling team for work.  I had the lowest score out of everyone there but my team floated me.

My Las Vegas Walkabout

Went to Vegas for a few days alone for work. I got a little bored and walked through my hotel- the bellagio, cesars palace and the outside of the mirage. I really am not a big fan of Vegas so its kinda nuts that I will be there twice this month. Once for work and then again a few weeks for the Utah Utes vs. Boise State.

Only in Vegas would you see Santa dressed like this.

Went to the store for a Christmas Tree and we ran into good ole santa claus. Brett asked him for a Criss Cross Crash and a pocket RC. Caleb really didnt get into the whole Santa thing. I had to take pictures of a picture and they didnt come out well but here you go.




Got the tree up and the decorations out.



Found an oreo in a pack that had one side upside down. Dont know why I had to take a picture but I felt like it deserved a photo.

Jackson Family Photos

On Halloween we had family pictures taken. Our photographer was Justin's Brother Luke's Girlfriend Elisa.... It was nice to get to spend some time getting to know her, and nice to get a family photo.









Over thanksgiving weekend we realized how much Caleb likes meat..... On thanksgiving day he had a ton of ham. He would pick out the ham over everything else on his highchair. Then he had meat sauce with pasta and tonight sloppy joes. This kid LOVES to eat!

For thanksgiving Brett ate turkey dipped in A-1. YUCK!!!!
